Music Sr. The funeral for Everett "Ben" Benjamin Music Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Chapel. The Rev. Dave Humphreys of Phoenix Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Music, 82, of Medford, died Saturday (April 6, 2002) at a foster care home in Medford. He was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Elk City, Okla., to Tobe and Sarah Music. On Nov. 23, 1940, in Canute, Okla., he married Wilda Mae Jones, who died in 2000. They came to Oregon by train in 1944. Mr. Music was a heavy equipment operator for the Jackson County Road Department from 1960 until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of the Phoenix Church of Christ and the Good Sam Club. Mr. Music enjoyed music and playing the guitar in a musical group, gardening and traveling. Survivors include two sons, Gene, Medford, and Everett B Jr., Phoenix; a daughter, Mary Armstrong, Central Point; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Arrangements: Hillcrest Mortuary, Medford.
