  Services for Carl LaNeil Nesser
will be held in the Martin Funeral
Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Burial
will follow in the Fairlawn
cemetery.  Rev. Dave Bryan will be
the officiating minister.
  Neil was born in Elk City Nov. 25,
1933 and died in the VA hospital in
Albuquerque, N. M., March 28,
following an illness since January of
this year.  He attended Elk City High
School and enlisted in the United
States Air Force in 1953.  After his
discharge he began his career as a 
compositor-printer, working
in Georgia, North and South Carolina.
and Texas.  He was employed at the 
Albuquerque Publishing Company
at the time of his death.  He was a
member of the First Baptist Church.
  Survivors include his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Nesser, on son,
Nathan Nesser, who makes his home
in Horse Shoe, N. C.; two brothers,
Ray Nesser, Huntsville, Ark., and
Ron Nesser of Elk City; two uncles,
Earnest Nesser of Elk City and Don
Snyder of Oklahoma City.
  One daughter, Kay Lene Nesser,
preceded him in death.
