Mrs. Nevill died Sunday, April 20, 1947, at her home following an illness of sev- eral weeks. She had been a resi- dent of Hext since 1903 and was an early-day school teacher. Mrs. Nevill was born at Woods- field Ohio, July 4, 1869 and was Married to Dave Nevill at Man- gum, on August 13, 1905. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a son, Sam who was killed in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Survivors include Mr. Nevill, a granddaughter, Norma Lee Nevill, a nephew, Winn Lynch, Oklahoma City and a niece, Gladys Brown Holt, Oklahoma City. Funeral services were conducted from the Hext school auditorium Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev- erend J. L. Davis officiated with interment in the Sayre-Doxey cem- etery.
