   Basil Frank Nichols was born October 30, 1906 in Hood County, Texas to
   Gertrude Fee and Charles Owen Nichols and passed away April 5, 1996 in
   the  Cheyenne Convalescent Center at the age of 89 years, 5 months and
   5  days. Basil moved in a vocered wagon with his family to Roger Mills
   County  in  the 1919's attended school at the Leedey area, later moved
   to  Cheyenne where he farmed. He married Elsie Ivy on March 5, 1962 in
   Erick,  OK  and  they made their home in Cheyenne. Basil loved to sing
   and  play his fiddle. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2
   brothers, Sam and Jack and one sister. Graveside services were held at
   the   Cheyenne   Cemetery,  Cheyenne,  Roger  Mills  County,  Oklahoma
   officiated  by Juanice Parkhurst. Arrangements are under the direction
   of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
