OSBORN, NETTIE
(15 Aug 1907, The Canute Leader, Canute, Washita Co, OK):
Died.  Mrs. Mettie (sic) Osborn, wife of Jim Osborn who use(d) to reside at 
this place but of late from San Antonio, Texas, died last Wednesday morning, 
Aug. 7th.  Mrs. Osborns death was a shock to this community.  She has always 
been loved and respected and highly spoken of by all who knew her.
For the past six months Mrs. Osborn has been failing in health until she 
(blurred line) for her health when at last death came to relieve her of her 
untold pain and woe.  The corpse arrived Saturday.  Funeral services were 
held in the residence of her brother Mr. Clay Thompson on Sunday afternoon 
after which the body was laid to rest in the Canute Cemetery.  The Leader 
extends their sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives.
