Buried Carter cemetery *Beckham County ,Oklahoma

Ona Lee PATTERSON was born June 10,1901 to Thomas Jacob and Helena
JACKSON in Carter and died June 18,1995 in Apple Valley,California at the
age of 94.Ona Lee married Rodger W.PATTERSON on May 11,1920 in Sayre.They
lived in Sayre for about 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents,husband and two sons,Jack
B.PATTERSON and Rev.E.PATTERSON .She is survived by one daughter,Peggy
A.MILLER of Apple Valley,California,two sons Vernon L.PATTERSON of
Reno,Nevada and Ted PATTERSON of Santa Ana,California,two sisters Bessie
WINNINGHAM of Sentinel and Jessie TAYLOR of Lawton,and one brother,Cleo
JACKSON of Elk City.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Carter Cemetery
with Rev.T.D.GIFORD officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of
Whinery Savage Funeral Service.

Carter cemetery Beckham Co.,Ok. d/o S.J.PATTERSON

The family of S.J.PATTERSON who live between Carter and Doxey,lost their
four year old daughter Ollie.She died Sunday night from the ravages of
Typhoid fever.

Carter cemetery Beckham County,Oklahoma

Funeral Services for S.J.PATTERSON ,70 year-old pioneer Beckham county
farmer who died Monday night at Sayre hospital,were to be held Wednesday
afternoon at the Carter Baptist church,with Rev.Jim REEL
officiating.Burial was in the Carter cemetery.

Mr.PATTERSON who had lived for 27 years on a farm nine miles southeast of
Sayre,had been ill two weeks.

He is survived by his widow,Mrs.Martha PATTERSON;two daughters,Mrs.Jimmy
SIMMONS of Sayre and Miss Pearly PATTERSON of the home address;and two
sons,Willie PATTERSON of Carter and Norval PATTERSON of the home
address.Two sisters,Mrs.Martha Bright of Berlin and Mrs.Lou WITHERSPOON
of Sayre.and two brothers,Martin PATTERSON of Berlin and John PATTERSON
of Sayre,also survive.
