Last Tuesday May 26th while plowing, a stick got fastened in his plow, and when he started to reach back to remove it, be became over balanced and both legs were caught in a wheel, both legs were broken and his body considerably crushed. He was hurt internally and was only conscious at time, tho it was thought he was getting along nicely, consider- his condition. Cecil is son of Mr. and Mrs Riley Pyle and was a strong robust little fellow for his twelve years of age, Those who knew him loved him for he was quiet and pleasant. His Grandfather Cannon from parts of Arkansas come when he heard of his serious accident and was at the bedside when the life passed away. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 4 o'clock by Bro. Carmon of Elk City. The remains were laid to rest in the Erick Cemetery. The Democrat joins their many friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
