Cox and passed away February 16, 1994, in the St. Joseph's Hospital of Dahlonega, GA at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 24 days. Viola grew up in the Grimes area and attended Grimes School. She later married Ralph LeRoy "Blackie" Repass on December 7, 1992 in Sayre, OK and remained in western Oklahoma until 1938 when they moved to Littlefield, TX. In 1953 they moved to West Plains, MO where they made their home. In September of 1992 she moved to Dawsonville, GA to be with her daughter. She was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters Zella Gamble and Eleanor Cox, and 3 brothers, Mayo, Charles, Raleigh and Thomas Carter Cox and 1 great grandchild Chris Leathers. Services were Sunday, February 20, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rose Chapel officiated by Ray Smart. Interment was in the Dempsey Cemetery,Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Survivors include 1 daughter Faye Christian, Dawsonville, GA; 2 sons; Ernest E. Repass, Hurst, TX; Morris E. Repass, Woodland Hills, CA; 2 sisters, Nellie Jurgensen, Sayre, OK; Willie Bates, West Plains, MO; 4 grandchildren, Dona Garmon, Dawsonville, GA; Carly Repass, Hurst, TX; Mike Dressler, San Jose, GA; Tim Dressler, Japan; 2 great grandchildren, Leigh Ann Garmon; Daniel Dressler; and a host of other relatives and friends.
