Beckham Co OK - Rutherfords lose one year old son, 1938

                       RUTHERFORDS LOSE ONE-YEAR-OLD-SON
Kenneth Odell Rutherford, one year old son of Mr and Mrs W. Paul Rutherford, 
died at the family home at 10:Oclock this morning. Besides his parents he
is survived by a sister Paulyne age 4, and a brother Gary Dean age 2. The
body will be shipped to Sayre Oklahoma this afternoon by N.S. Griggs and
Sons for burial there tomorrow.

                      RUTHERFORD BABY IS BURIED AT LONE OAK
Services were conducted Thursday at the Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Bob 
Allison assisted by Rev. Tom Davis officiating, for Kenneth O Dell Rutherford 
10 month old son of Mr and Mrs W. Paul Rutherford former New Liberty residents.
The Rutherford infant succumbed at the family residence in Amarillo February 9
1938 with pneumonia after a 4 day illness.
Internment was made in Lone Oak Cemetery  with Moore funerla directors in 
charge.
Kenneth is buried in unmarked grave at the North side of JoAn Rutherford her 
stone reads OUR BABY RUTHERFORD  This is a white stone and was made by Martin 
Jerome Sechrist her grandfather. Both were also the grandchildren of W.F. and 
Lulu Rutherford.
