(8 Jan 1948, Thursday, Sayre Sun, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Former Sayre Man Dies at McAlester.
W. F. Allsup of McAlester and formerly of Sayre, died Monday, December 29,
at McAlester and services were held from the First Baptist church at
McAlester.  Mr. Allsup is the brother of Mrs. M. L. Ball, route 1, Erick.
Mr. Allsup left Sayre thirty-six years ago.  He is survived by his wife of
the home address and six children: Mrs. Bertha Shockley, McAlester, Mrs.
Dova Silva, McAlester, Mrs. Syble Porter, Hinesville, Ga., Lymon Allsup,
McAlester, Oakie Allsup, McAlester.
Interment was at McAlester.
