(21 Jan 1926, Thursday, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
WILLIAM WALTER ANDERSON
William Walter Anderson died Sunday, January 17th, and was intered (sic)
in the Doxey-Sayre cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, following
impressive funeral services held at the Baptist church by Rev. Z. E.
Twitty of Cheyenne.
Mrs. Anderson was eighty-two years of age and a pioneer of this section. 
He was a man that was loved and respected by those friends who knew him
best.  He is the father of Mrs. D. W. Tracy of this city.

WILLIAM W. ANDERSON DEAD.
Wm. W. Anderson, father of Mrs. D. W. Tracy, of this city, died at an Elk
City hospital on Sunday last.  Funeral services were held from the Baptist
church of this city on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Z. E. Twitty of
Cheyenne, officiating.  Interment was in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery.  -
Sayre Headlight.

Mr. and Mrs. Cornelison were absent the fore-part of last week on account
of their attendance at Mr. Anderson's funeral in Sayre Tuesday.  The
Sweetwater School and Faculty sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
