Anderson, 81, at the Baptist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. J. T. Daniels, pastor of the First Baptist church in charge of the service. Mrs. Anderson was formerly Susan Virginia Frans, she was born June 3, 1849, at Belknap, Texas, and married William Anderson, December 25, 1865. To this union eight children were born: Hattie, Mrs. W. S. Lard, who died at Miami Texas, June 1, 1925; John A. Anderson, who lives at Sayre, Okla; Lee Anderson, who lives at Glazier, Texas; Henry M. Anderson, who lives at Groom, Texas; Fannie, Mrs. R. L. Shelton, who lives at Miami, Texas; Annie, Mrs. D. W. Tracy, who lives at Pampa, Texas; Lelah, Mrs. Joe Kimbell, who lives at Whiteflat, Texas; and Ollie, Mrs. Charles Morgan, who lives at Endee, New Mexico. All the living children were at her bedside when she died. She left seven children, 66 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild surviving her. Her husband William W. Anderson died five years ago at a hospital in Elk City. Mrs. Anderson, "Grandma," as she was familiarly and affectionately called by a very wide circle of friends, was for many years a member of Baptist Church, her membership being at Pampa, Texas, at the time of her death. She lived a consistent Christian life, firm in her convictions, affectionate in disposition, devoutedly (sic) loyal to her family and to every duty, patient in affliction, and faithful and true in every relation. Death came to Mrs. Anderson in Pampa, Texas, June 26, 1930. Burial followed the funeral service was made in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery. Killough-Hullum, directors were in charge.
