(sic) Berry Dead. K. T. Berry, living near Sayre, who has been sick for several months, died Wednesday night. He was a member of the A.F. & A.M. lodge of Sayre. (14 Apr 1911, Friday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): J. G. Berry, who has been ill for some time, succumbed to the enemy of mortality on Wednesday at 8 o'clock P.M. aged 85 years. Mr. Berry was an old resident of the county well and favorably known to a host of mourning friends. He is survived by a wife and three grown children. Interment will take place today at 10 o'clock, under the directions of the Masonic Fraternity. (20 Apr 1911, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Mr. Berry, of whose death we made mention last week, was buried Tursday (sic) morning, funeral services being conducted at the home by Rev. McConnell; assisted by Rev. J. A. Bradshaw, after which the Masons took charge of the remains and services were held under the ritual of the order. Mr. Berry was 81 (sic) years old the day before he died. He was a native of Ohio, but came to this place from Missouri.
