BISSETT, LANES
(2 Sep 1920, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Lanes Bissett, 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Bissett who live west
of this city, died here last Monday morning.  The body was prepared for
burial here and taken to the rural cemetery near their home for burial.

The sympathy of the people of the entire community is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Bissett in their great bereavement caused by the death of little
Lannis.  At such times we can only bow our heads and acknowledge that His
ways are higher than our ways, and brings to mind the passage,  "I am a
stranger here."
