BLASER, BERTHA
(24 Mar 1911, Friday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Fred Blazer (sic) died at their home last Saturday after a short
illness and was buried at Berlin last Sunday.  A large number of friends
followed the last remains and Mr. Blazer has the sympathy of the
surrounding country.

Bertha Belitz Blaser, wife of Fred Blaser, was born at Schoensee, West
Prussia, Germany, Aug. 2, 1877, and died at their home near Berlin, Okla.,
March 18, 1911, age 32 yrs., 7 mo. and 15 days.  She came to America in
1909, and located at Marshall, Minn., where she resided until her marriage
Oct. 21, 1910.  A happy home has been made desolate by the grim reaper,
death.  Although she had lived among us but a short time, we had all
learned to love her.  Her gentle disposition and smiling face made her a
favorite of young and old.  Indeed it may be said to know her was to love
her.  She leaves to mourn her departure a devoted husband, one sister, one
brother and a host of friends.  A. Friend.
