BLUMENFELD, HARRY

Sig Blumenfeld's Brother Dead.
Sunday afternoon Sig Blumenfeld received a telegram from Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, announcing the death of his brother, Harry, at that place,
after a short illness with typhoid fever.  Mr. Blumenfeld did not receive
the telegram until Sunday afternoon, and as the funeral was set for
Monday, it was impossible for him to get there in time.
The deceased was the oldest of the Blumenfeld brothers, and a prominent
merchant at Milwaukee.

OFF FOR MILWAUKEE.  Sig Blumenfeld Left Sunday Morning for That City.
Sig Blumenfeld, who for some years had been the head of the B. & E. M.
clothing store, in this city, left Sunday morning for Milwaukee, where he
goes to assume charge of the business formerly conducted by a brother who
died a short time since.
Sig has made a host of friends in this city during his residence here, and
it was with regret that our citizens learned of his decision to take up
his residence at Milwaukee, yet his many friends will wish him the fullest
measure of success in his new field of labor.
Mr. Blumenfeld disposed of his interest in the B. & E. M. store to his
partner, Ed Marks, who will conduct the store in the future, and along the
same general lines which have proven so successful in the past.
