BOREN, CHARLIE
(28 May 1908, The Sayre Star, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Charlie, the 17 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Boren, died
Tuesday after a short illness.  When the little one took sick they brought
her in from the farm to give her the best medical attention, and
everything was done that was possible to save her life, but in vain.  He
who giveth and taketh away willed otherwise, and the sunshine is gone from
another home.  The only consolation in such a death is the knowledge that
she is now better off than the rest of us who are left behind, and that
she will never know aught of harsh things in life.  With sympathetic
kindness friends and neighbors laid the little form to rest, and the
entire community joins in sympathy with the parents.

The friends of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Boren extend sincere sympathy in the
loss of their little daughter that died May 28, 1908.
