BOYD, SARAH N.
(17 Sep 1925, The Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Sarah N. Boyd died at her home in this city Sunday morning at 6:30
and was buried in the Sayre cemetery Wednesday afternoon with services
conducted by the Odd Fellows and Rebakah (sic) Lodges, of which she was a
member. (Note: buried Lone Oak Cemetery)
Mrs. Boyd was seventy two years of age and had resided here for the past
fifteen years.  The family originally came from Illinois to Texas in 1893
and lived in that state approximately seventeen years.
She was a member of the Methodist church and lived a devoted Christian
life and to know her was to love her.  Mrs. Boyd leaves to mourn her
passing, her husband, Jessie S. Boyd, age 75, and children and a host of
long time friends.
