BRADY, G. W.
(25 Oct 1923, The Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Was a Pioneer Resident of Sayre and This Section.
G. W. Brady died Saturday evening at his home in this city after an
illness of only a few days, and before many of his friends were even aware
that he was sick.  Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon, under the
auspices of the Liberty Hill Odd Fellows lodge, of which he was a member. 
Interment was at the Lone Oak cemetery.
Mr. Brady was a pioneer resident of the Lone Oak section, coming to this
city about ten or twelve years ago, where he had since made his home.  For
a number of years he carried the mails between the depot and post office,
and had during his residence in this section gained a wide acquaintance,
being highly respected by all.  We have been unable to learn his exact
age, but it was in the neighborhood of 75.
