BRASHEAR, JOHN C.
(12 Jun 1913, Thursday, The Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
John C. Brashear, father of Mrs. John C. Hendrix, died at the home of his
daughter in this city, Thursday afternoon June 5th after an illness of
about two weeks.  Funeral services were held at the Baptist tabernacle at
3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Mr. Brashear was born in Tennessee, April 13, 1847, and moved to Texas
about 30 years ago.  About two years ago, he took up residency with his
daughter, Mrs. Hendrix.  He was laid to rest in the Doxey cemetery.
