Ottis Brown died Wednesday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the effects of an injury he sustained last Thursday afternoon while lifting a sack of grain into a bin at his feed mill in this city. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Brown, who reside south of Sayre. At the time of his injury, which was internal, it was not thought to be serious, but blood poisoning resulted and despite his heroic determination to live and the skill of physicians, death came to relieve him of his sufferings. He leaves a wife and one infant child. The sympathy of our entire community go out to the bereaved ones in their sorrow and distress. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. W. L. Anderson officiating.
