Mrs. Bruner, who lived north of Sayre died Tuesday. She was a sister of E. S. Repass of Grimes. (1 Oct 1925, The Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): OBITUARY. Mrs. Mary Francis Bruner Died at her home near Sayre, Okla., Sept. 15, at 7:25 p.m. Mrs. Mary Francis Bruner, interment in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery at 4 o'clock p.m. Sept. 16. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. J. B. Williams of Sayre, pastor of Liberty church. She was the wife of A. J. Bruner. Mary Francis Bruner is the daughter of David and Amelia Repass, she was born at Coleta, Whiteside county, Ill., April 10, 1860. Died Sept. 15th 1925, age 65 years, 5 months and 5 days. She was of a family of eight children, four boys and four girls. Three brothers, one sister and her husband preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her departure from this life, two children, Floyd Repass (sic), her son and Dena Herndon, her daughter at home, one brother E. S. Repass, of Grimes, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Smith, of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Nettie Cann of Newton Kansas. She leaves a number of grandchildren and other relatives, with many friends to mourn her death. Mary was converted and joined the Methodist church at Gxira, Iowa in her early life from which she never departed.
