Bunch died Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. W. Crites, of this city, and funeral services were held at the Methodist church yesterday afternoon, with Rev. T. N. Weeks, officiating. Interment was at Elk City. Mr. Bunch was born in Virginia June 8, 1847, moving with his parents to Missouri when a small boy, and later residing in Texas. About 40 years ago he took up his residence near where Durant now stands, in this state and in 1902 moved to a farm in Washita county, where he resided until a few years since. Mr. Bunch always made many friends by his jovial disposition, and although advanced in years has been in robust health until within the last two months. Besides Mrs. Crites, he leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Rosa Wildman of Carnegie, Mrs. Mable Haygood of Doxey, and Mrs. Mattie Stephens of Calary, Oklahoma. WILLIAM H. BUNCH. William H. Bunch, age 80 years 2 months and 3 days, died Tuesday April 5th, at his home here. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. T. N. Weeks officiating. Interment was in the cemetery at Elk City. Mr. Bunch was a Civil War veteran and a familiar figure about town. His sunny disposition made him much liked and his death is mourned by those who knew him.
