BURNUM, GRADY
(6 Mar 1919, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
FLU TAKES A DELHI MAIL CARRIER.  Grady Burnum Died on Tuesday Morning and
Was Buried Yesterday.  Word reaches us that Grady Burnum of Delhi, well
known in this city, died of flu at his home early Tuesday morning.  The
funeral services were held at the Delhi church yesterday afternoon.  He
leaves a wife and child, an aged mother, and one brother, Clay Burnum, now
with Uncle Sam's army in France.
Mr. Burnum was well known in this city, and especially in the section
around Delhi, he having served for nine years as a rural carrier from that
place.
