Busbee of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Busbee was born in Jackson county, Alabama, April 8, 1856, and came to the state of Texas when he was a young man. He was married to Miss Callie McCanless of Garland, Texas, in the year 1882, July 4th. They lived in and near Dallas all their married life. His sickness was of a short duration. He was stricken with paralysis on Saturday evening at 7 o'clock, on March 17, and could not move or speak after an hour or two. Everything that could be done was done but to no avail. He departed this life at 3 o'clock a.m., March 23rd, 1928. His wife and little daughter, Corrine, his brother Rufus and wife of Birmingham, Ala., his nephew Dow Busbee, and wife and little daughter, Mable Claire, of Dallas, Texas; Mr. J. W. McCanless of Chickasha, Okla. Mrs. J. A. Young of Sayre, brother and sister of Mrs. L. D. Busbee, were at this bedside, also a host of other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and daughter Corrine, his brother of Alabama, and two nephews and one niece.
