BUSBY, LULA M.
(23 Feb 1911, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Lula M. Busby, wife of W. G. Busby, died at their home in this city,
Tuesday, February 21, at 3:00 a.m., aged thirty years, ten months and
twenty-five days.
Funeral was held from the residence Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.  Services
conducted by Rev. T. A. O'Bryant, pastor of the Baptist church.
Interment at Doxey cemetery attended by a large concourse of friends of
the family.
The care of two small children, one only eight days old at date of the
mother's death, devolves upon the bereaved husband.
(24 Feb 1911, Friday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. W. G. Busby died at the family residence on third street Tuesday
morning, Feb. 21st, after a short illness, superinduced by confinement
last week.
Mrs. Busby nee Lula M. Sutton was born March 26, 1880.  She and Woody G.
Busby were married in this city April 11th, 1904, from which union three
children resulted, two of whom survive the mother, the youngest being the
baby a week old.  Mrs. Busby also leaves a mother, two sisters and three
brothers to mourn her departure and the entire family have the sincere
sympathy of the community in their prostration and sorrow.
