CARDWELL, ULA S.
(25 Aug 1904, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
U. S. Cardwell died at his home near Berlin Monday of consumption.  He was
a single man 24 years of age.  His remains were shipped east Tuesday.
Ula Cardwell died at his home on Monday the 22nd, of consumption.  He was
rational to the last, made his will and also wrote a letter to his father
who was on the road to be with his son at his last moments, but was
delayed and did not arrive until after his sons death.  Ula had lots of
friends here who are sad to lose so good and kind a friend and neighbor.
