Casper, Dead. J. F. Caspar (sic) died on Friday last, August 5, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F. M. Chapman, in this city. Mr. Casper was 72 years of age and served during the rebellion in the Union army, being a member of the G.A.R. at the time of his death. He was also a Mason. The funeral services were held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Chapman on Saturday afternoon, Rev. Orville Hawkins officiating. (12 Aug 1910, Sayre Citizen, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Died, Friday, August 5th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. M. Chapman, J. F. Casper, aged 72 years. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Chapman in the west part of the city, conducted by Orville Hawkins, pastor of the Christian church.
