CHAPMAN, FRED
(16 Feb 1922, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Fred Chapman, ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Chapman, of this
city, attended school last Wednesday last, and that night came home
complaining of severe pains in his lungs.  Physicians were called, and it
developed that he was suffering from pneumonia.  While everything possible
was done for him, he died Thursday forenoon.
Funeral services were held from the Baptist church on Sunday afternoon
with Rev. Z. E. Twitty officiating.  Interment was in the Doxey-Sayre
Cemetery.
The Chapman family are old residents of this city and a host of friends
will join with the Headlight in extending sympathy in their hour of
bereavement.
Mrs. Axel Strandberg, of Amarillo, was a Sayre visitor last Sunday, in
attendance at the funeral of little Fred Chapman.
