CHRISMAN, GILBERT A.
(21 Dec 1922, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
G. A. Chrisman Died Suddenly.
G. A. Chrisman, residing about five miles west of this city, died very
suddenly on Sunday afternoon last.  Mr. Chrisman had been in poor health
for some time past, but was considered as considerably improved, and able
to be up and around home.  On Sunday several visitors spent the day with
him, and upon their departure he remarked that he would lay down and rest.
 A few moments later he was noted struggling to sit up; and assistance
give him, but he passed away within a very few moments.
Funeral services will be held from the Lone Oak church at 2 this
afternoon, it having been delayed to await the arrival of relatives from
Iowa.
Mr. Chrisman was well known in this city, and in the farming section to
the west, where he was highly respected, and the sympathy of a large
circle of friends goes to the bereaved family.
