J. COOPER. Had Resided In Beckham County 27 Years, Buried Tuesday At Sayre-Doxey Cemetery. William James Cooper died at the home of his brother-in-law W. C. Lovelady, three and one half miles north and one west of Doxey as the result of complications of kidney and lung trouble after a prolonged illness and three weeks confinement on February 4. Funeral services were held at the Pentecostal church in Sayre Tuesday with Rev. Glen Millard officiating. Interment was made at the Sayre-Doxey cemetery. Cooper had been a resident of Beckham county for 27 years and was well known. He was born March 25, 1855 in Coweta county, Georgia. He was married to Miss Georgia Jones in 1882. He joined the Baptist church and was baptised at the age of 21. He is survived by his wife, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Adams, Mr. and Mrs. W. C.
