All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ CRAWL, SUSIE E. (18 Nov 1926, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. J. B. Crawl. Mrs. J. B. Crawl, wife of J. B. Crawl of the Dempsey community, died at the home of her brother, George A. Stovall, 805 North Broadway, City, Saturday, November 13. Mrs. Crawl had been at the home of her brother in this city for the past six months on account of illness. The family homesteaded in this country in 1901 and had resided here since that time. Mrs. Crawl was a member of the Church of Christ and lived a devoted Christian life. There were no children. The deceased is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Moore Taylor of Kaufman, Texas; three brothers, J. A. Stovall of this city, J. D. Stovall of Granite, and W. L. Stovall of Scurry, Texas. Funeral services were conducted at the Dempsey cemetery at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, following the removal of the long funeral posession (sic) from the Stovall home here. Rev. Hackaday of Hollis, Oklahoma, conducted the services and interment made in the Dempsey cemetery. CARD OF THANKS.
