CROUCH, CLARA
(14 Nov 1907, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
On Sunday, November 10, at Dempsey cemetery, the sad obsequies of Mrs. Lee
Crouch were held, Rev. Wood officiated.
Mrs. Lee Crouch was a citizen of Roger Mills county, her home being near
Dempsey, Oklahoma.  She leaves three small children, a husband and many
relatives heart broken over her departure.  At the prime of life, in her
31st year, the fatal disease of consumption which had preyed upon her for
several years, and unyielding to loving ministrations and medical aid, her
life was sapped away, and her place so affectionately filled was left
vacant.
She was a loving mother and faithful wife and died believing in Christ,
her last words being, "I have found Jesus!"  The hearts of the community
beat in sympathetic pity with the hearts of the bereaved ones.
Card of Thanks
The husband and relatives of the deceased desire to thank the loving
friends and neighbors of the community for their loving kindness and
attention during the long illness and death of our loved one, and we
especially desire to extend our thanks to Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Cop and Mrs.
Will Grayham.
