Curran, an old resident of Beckham and Roger Mills Co., died a his home in this city Thursday morning at 9 A.M. (26 Jan 1911, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Died at his home in Sayre, January 19, 1911, James H. Curran, age 71 years. He was born in St. Johnsville, N. Y., July 8, 1839. He was a soldier in the war of 1861, was married to Miss Samantha Saxton in the year 1867. He was a conductor for many years. He came to Oklahoma twenty years ago and is well known in this part of the state. Our sympathy goes out to his wife in this sad hour. The services were conducted from the home by A. B.
