DENNIS, J. M.
(8 Dec 1910, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
On last Sunday morning just as the clock tolled the hour of 1, the death
angel visited the home of Jasper T. Dennis and took this infant son,
little J. M., who was a visitor of only a few short weeks.  God send this
visitor for a purpose and was also taken for the same purpose.  God gives
and he also taketh away.  He buries his works and his work still goes on. 
Dear parents if you live as little J. T. the messenger bids you, you can
meet again where parting comes no more.  Remember dear parents that the
star of hope is shining on your way with a bright golden ray.  Look up
death brother, the stars are shining and think you have one in the number.
 May heaven bless you and us all, is the prayer of one who has bowed to
his will and passed under the same rod.  JOHN.
