DOUGLAS, M. F.
(13 Jul 1916, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
M. F. Douglas, the 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Douglas, of
Delhi, died Friday July 7th, after a brief illness and was buried Saturday
at the Delhi cemetery.  The funeral sermon was delivered by Rev. William
Harp.
Resolutions of Sympathy.
Be it resolved by Shinery Camp No. 107, W. O. W., in regular meeting
assembled at Sayre, Oklahoma, July 11, 1916.
First:  That we hear with sorrow and deep regret of the death of F. M.
Douglas, aged 14 years, son of our esteemed Sovereign District Manager B.
F. Douglas, of Delhi, Oklahoma; of the splendid character of the departed,
and in the knowledge that cum tacit, clamat, although he is silent, he
still cries aloud in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved
him.
Second :  That a copy of these resolutions after being spread upon the
minutes of this meeting be furnished to our bereaved brother and to the
newspapers of Sayre for publication.
