Was Ill Short Time Prior to Her Death Thursday. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. W. P. Duffy, 48, who died October 9, 1930. Mrs. Duffy had been seriously ill only a short time. She died at the family home west of Sayre. She leaves to mourn her going, her husband, W. P. Duffy, two sons, Morgan Parker of Pampa, Texas, and Gaither Parker of Sayre, one daughter, Billie Pat Duffy of Sayre, two brothers, Frank Morgan of Brownwood, Texas and Dee Morgan of Abilene, Texas and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Lawson of Brownwood, Texas and Mrs. J. B. Askins of Sayre. Mrs. Duffy was born at Pilot Point, Texas, July 7, 1882. In 1904 she was married to Charlie Parker and to this union three children were born, one of them dying in infancy. Some years later Parker died and in 1922 she was united in marriage to W. P. Duffy. To this union one daughter was born. At the age of sixteen Mrs. Duffy became a member of the Baptist church at Gulson, Texas in Taylor county. She moved her membership to the Sayre church a year ago. Rev. J. T. Daniels officiated at the service Friday afternoon. Burial was made in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery under the direction of Killough-Hullum Funeral Home. CARD OF THANKS.
