DUNN,  MATILDA ALTUS
(16 Jan 1913, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of Altus Dunn.  On the night of the 11th day of January, 1913, at 2
o'clock, the death angels came and called away from us, Miss Altus Dunn. 
She was born at Blecherville, Tex., Montague county, September 20th, 1899;
afterward moving to Prentiss, Oklahoma, where she lived until her death. 
Her death was unexpected by all as she was sick only a few days.  She has
a host of friends and schoolmates who will miss her.  But when God calls,
man must obey.  May her memory be as a guiding star leading us on and
upward to that better land where she has gone to rest forever with God.
She was buried at the Sanders (Buffalo) cemetery at 2 o'clock.

We desire to thank the kind friends and neighbors for their kindness and
help at the death of our dear daughter and sister, Altus.

Miss Altus Dunn, daughter of A. T. Dunn, died on January 11, 1913, and was
buried at the Sanders cemetery at 2 o'clock on Sunday.  She was born
Blecherville, Texas, Montague County, September 20, 1899.
