All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ EASLEY, MARY MAUD (6 Dec 1906, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Mary Maud Easley, the wife of Alfred Easley, died at her home, two miles east and one mile south of Rankin, November 22, 1906, at the age of 27 years and 2 months. She leaves a husband, three little boys and a sister to mourn her departure. Deceased was born in Eastern Tennessee, near Bristol, and lived there until she emigrated with her husband to Western Oklahoma. She was converted and united with the church at the age of fourteen years, and was a model wife and loving mothers. (12 Dec 1906, Elk City Record, Wednesday, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Maud Easley, born in the state of Tennessee, Sept. 20, 1879, died Nov. 22, 1906, aged 27 years, 2 months and 2 days. She was converted and joined the M. E. Church at the age of 14 years. Later she was a married to Alfred L. Easley August. 13, 1901, and was an earnest christian, a faithful devoted wife, a kind and loving mother, and affectionate sister. Our dear one leaves to mourn her loss a husband, three bright little boys; Delinyer, aged 4 years; Artis, aged two and one half years; a dear little babe two weeks old and her only sister. The funeral services were conducted at her home, by Rev. Howe, and was largely attended by sympathizing friends who deeply deplore her death.
