EVANS, LIZZIE
(8 Apr 1909, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Lizzie Evans Died of consumption, at her home on Starvation creek,
west of this city, Thursday, April 1, 1909, Lizzie, aged 33 years, wife of
William Evans.
Funeral occurred from the Lone Oak Baptist church Friday and was attended
by a large concourse of friends of the family, which is one of the oldest
and most respected in this section.  Rev. J. K. White of Sayre conducted
the services.  Interment was made in Lone Oak cemetery.
Besides the husband, deceased leaves a little daughter, 8 years old, to
mourn an irreparable loss.
This is the first death to occur in the large family of J. H. Evans,
father-in-law of the deceased,  in 25 years.
