FAIRLESS, FREDDIE
(21 Mar 1907, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Freddie Fairless, who has been in Sayre for a short time, died last
night after a three days illness which the doctors say was caused by
overheating.  She was taken sick Tuesday, and had convulsions and
delirium, recovering consciousness only for a short time before her death.
 Mrs. Fairless was only sixteen years old.  She was married last winter
and was deserted by her husband soon after.  She has no relatives in
Oklahoma.  A brother lives in Texas, and was notified, but it is not known
that he received the message.  Kind-hearted friends attended to her during
her illness, and the burial will take place Friday.

Many will learn with sorrow of the death of Mrs. Freddie Garner Fairless
which took place at Sayre last Friday.  Only a short time ago she was a
happy girl enjoying life.  How little we thought of death claiming her so
early.
