All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ FOCKLER, JOHN T. (13 May 1904, Friday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): John T. Fockler Dead. Monday night, after an illness extending through more than one year, John T. Focker (sic) died at the Hotel Iowa, and was buried Tuesday evening in the cemetery at Merrit (sic). Mr. Fockler was born in Huntington county, Pa., in 1844, and was 59 years and 10 months old. From the age of 7 until 18 he attended college at Litiz, Pa. He enlisted in Company F, First Regular N.Y. Marine Artillery, in July 1862, and served until the close of the war. He was a druggist by profession, but had been engaged in fruit and stock raising for a number of years. He came to this place about six months ago.
