FREEMAN, LEONARD P.
(18 Dec 1913, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Died on Tuesday December 16th 1913 at his home in the city Leonard P.
Freeman aged 69 years.  He was born in Bradford county Pennsylvania May
19th 1844.
In his young manhood he came to southern Wisconsin where at the age of 24
he was married to Margaret Wagner who died after two and half years
leaving one son Martin Edward who survives him.
He was again married in 1876 to Margaret A. Shaff.  Four children were
born of this union, one boy and three girls, only two of whom are now
living;  Mrs. L. V. Ross of Sayre and Mrs. T. H. Aaron of Clinton.
He leaves a widow, one son and two daughters to mourn his loss.
He was a resident of Beckham county almost 13 years.  The remains were
interred in the Doxey cemetery.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev.
H. E. Kinney of Doxey.
