FREEMAN, WILLIAM
(20 Sep 1928, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
BROTHER OF LOCAL MAN DIES SUNDAY.
William Freeman, age 66, brother of J. B. "Uncle Jack" Freeman of this
city, died Sunday, September 16, at the Masonic Home in Burlington, New
Jersey, following an illness of some time.
Mr. Freeman will be remembered by many in Sayre who met him during a visit
with his brother two years ago this past summer.  He was a very pleasant
elderly gentleman and readily made friends with those he came in contact
with.
William Freeman was preceeded in death by his wife, three years ago, and
his brother here was the closest relation living.
Burial was made in the Newark, New Jersey cemetery, Wednesday morning
beside his wife and daughter.  Owing to the distance of the trip "Uncle
Jack" was unable to make the long journey before the funeral.
