GARLAND, THRESA
(6 Jan 1916, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. THRESA B. GARLAND DIED IN OKLAHOMA CITY.
Mrs. Thresa Bates Garland, for some time a resident of this city, died in
Oklahoma City on Christmas morning.  The remains were sent here, and after
funeral services conducted at the First Christian church at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon, were laid to rest in the local cemetery.  Services were
conducted by Dr. Foster, pastor of the church.
Mrs. Garland was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bascom Bates former
residents of this city, and was well and favorably known here.  She was
born in Greenville, Texas, October 12, 1892.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Chandler & Robinson. - Southwestern
News.
