All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ GILDER, AMOS L. (7 Jan 1915, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Amos L. Gilder died at his home in this city Saturday, January 2, after an illness extending over a period of several years, the immediate cause of his death being tuberculosis. Mr. Gilder was a young man 35 years of age, who had made his home with his sister, Mrs. R. G. Hughs, up until two years ago when he was united in marriage to Miss Ruby Young of this city. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sayre and had led an exemplary Christian life. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. E. Gwatkin preaching the sermon. The Modern Woodmen of America, of which the deceased was a member, conducted the services at the cemetery.
