GODDARD, CHARLES M.
(1 Jul 1909, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Charley Goddard died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D.
Goddard, on North 7th Street, Tuesday morning, June 29th, 1909, of typhoid
fever.  Interment Tuesday evening in Berlin cemetery.
Deceased had but recently passed his 17th milestone, was robust and strong
and gave promise of many years of useful life until attacked by the dread
fever, the 15th inst., which resulted in his death.  He was an exemplary
young man, genteel, industrious and respected, and his untimely demise is
deeply regretted by those who knew him.
