GODFREY, ELIZABETH
(1 Apr 1915, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Willard Brady was called by phone Wednesday afternoon to Geary where
her mother, Mrs. C. H. Godfrey, was lying seriously ill with a stroke of
paralysis.  Mrs. Brady left on the 3:00 o'clock train and at 3:30 Mr.
Brady received a message conveying the sad news of Mrs. Godfrey's death. 
The deceased was 73 years of age.  Her husband died at Dodge City, Kansas,
last September, and Mr. Brady informs us that the deceased will be buried
at that place Friday afternoon.  He and Mrs. Brady will accompany the
remains from Geary to Dodge City.
