GOODWIN, C. C.
(4 Apr 1907, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
C. C. Goodwin died at his home about 5 miles southeast of Sayre, of heart
failure, March 31st, 1907.  Mr. Goodwin retired Saturday night in usual
health.  Early Sunday morning his wife heard him making an unusual noise
and endeavored to awake him and he died before help could be secured.  He
was laid to rest with Masonic honors in the Wash (Carter) cemetery Monday
at 4 p.m.
