GORDON, WILLIAM R.
(2 Sep 1920, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
W. R. GORDON DIED HERE.  Was a Pioneer of the Erick Section and Highly
Respected.
W. R. Gordon, who for the past twenty years has resided southeast of
Erick, died on Saturday last at the home of his son, Earl Gordon, in this
city, from a complication of kidney and bladder troubles coupled with old
age, he being 76 years of age at the time of his death.
The remains were taken to Erick on Sunday afternoon for interments and the
funeral services conducted at the Erick cemetery.
(2 Sep 1920, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
W. R. Gordon died at his home in this city last Sunday morning.  Mr.
Gordon had only lived here a short while.  He is the father of Earl
Gordon.  The remains were taken to Erick for burial.
